A series exploring the urban form of a historic rail town. Blair, Nebraska was platted in 1869 when the Sioux City and Northern Pacific rail lines were extended from Iowa across the Missouri River. The town has maintained much of its historic urban fabric and has built a robust system of grain silos along the rail line, which bisects the town.
