This design intervention was the product of an interdisciplinary design competition challenging students to redesign the University of Washington’s iconic Red Square. I worked with three landscape architects to develop a compelling design that responded to the history of the square while also boldly propelling it forward as a modern icon of the campus. I contributed the SketchUp model that was the foundation for our renderings, site plans, and section illustrations as well as producing the the concept sketches exploring three levels of enclosure and the "user experience" render.
